12 June 2026

Imon International Bank Receives Letter of Appreciation from IFC and the World Bank Group

Imon International Bank has been awarded a Letter of Appreciation by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in recognition of its significant contribution and productive partnership in the implementation of the Housing Microfinance Project in Tajikistan. The project is supported by the Government of Switzerland and aims to expand access to financial solutions that help improve housing conditions for the population.

This recognition highlights the successful cooperation between Imon International Bank, IFC, and international partners in developing accessible financial instruments for the public. Through these joint efforts, residents across various regions of the country have gained greater opportunities to finance the construction, renovation, and improvement of their homes.

Housing microfinance plays an important role in improving quality of life, particularly for families seeking affordable and convenient financial solutions for housing improvements. By supporting this initiative, Imon International Bank contributes not only to greater financial inclusion but also to the broader socio-economic development of the country.

The Letter of Appreciation reaffirms the Bank’s commitment to high professional standards, a responsible approach to customer service, and the development of long-term partnerships with international financial institutions.

Imon International Bank sincerely thanks IFC, the World Bank Group, and the Government of Switzerland for their trust and recognition of our joint efforts. We remain committed to actively participating in initiatives that expand access to financial services and create new opportunities for the well-being and prosperity of the people of Tajikistan.
